My Story

Shushanna Safarian.    I was born in Gyumri town,  Armenia, on September 1, 2007. I am an 11th grader at school #6. My favorite subjects are the Armenian language, English, and Algebra. I don’t have health problems. My eyes are brown, and my hair is black. My father, Hovhannes, is a seasonal laborer and partly supports our family. His ear does not listen because of the wrong treatment. My mother, Armine, is unemployed. She has a kidney problem. She is a housewife and takes care of us. Our income is not enough to care for our needs. It includes the father’s daily wage salary, which is not stable, and poverty allowance. My siblings are Lilit-30, Arsen-29, Karen-28, Lousine-24, Hovsep-17, Alex-9. My elder sister is married. My brother Arsen has a kidney problem. My guardian is my father, Hovhannes. I attend Pentecostal church and the TUMO center. We live in a temporary trailer house, which is in a sufficient state but needs renovation. The furniture is old and worn out. We live in disadvantaged social conditions. Using your assistance, we care for our basic needs. (2-646; update)

Remark*   Shushanna is a very clever and industrious girl. She likes to study. In her free time, she likes to draw and helps her mother with household chores. She likes playing chess. She waters the flowers in the area. She is very friendly and likes advising her friends. She searches for jobs during summer breaks.
