My Story

Anahit Harutiunian: I was born on September 18, 2009, in Dilijan. My hair is brown and my eyes are gray. I'm in 9th grade. My favorite subjects are Physical Education and the Armenian language. I don't have any health problems. I attend our local Evangelical church, the church's Sunday school youth group, and Bible study sessions. My father, Samvel, has abandoned us. My mother, Marta, is a cleaner at a guesthouse. I have a brother, Aram, who is 19. He was electrocuted while on a tree four years ago, losing his right hand. My mother is our guardian. Our income is not enough to care for our needs. It includes only my mother's salary and Aram's disability pension. We are staying at a relative's house. The place has three rooms, is very damp, and needs renovation. The furniture is old. Gas is unavailable. Water and electricity are provided. The utilities are insufficient. In the winter, we heat the house with firewood. Using your assistance, we care for our basic needs. (9-148; update)

Note* Anahit is an active and sociable girl who likes participating in various events, especially singing in the church choir and being part of different contests organised both by the church and the school. Anahit dreams of being a programmer.
