My Story

Edita A.:   I was born on December 10th, in Stepanavan. I have brown eyes and blond hair. I am in 5th grade. My favorite school subject is the French. I have an allergy and sinusitis. My father is a filling station attendant and hardly supports us. He had a cranial surgery 5 times and has skipped medical examinations for 4 years due to a lack of finances. My mother is a housewife and takes care of us. She has a vein problem. One of her legs has been operated on; the other leg has the same problem and needs surgery.  My guardian is my father. I have 2 sisters (Karine - 13, and Mariam - 9 years old). My grandmother also lives with us. I attend our local Evangelical Church and am part of the Sunday school children's group. Our family income is not enough to care for our basic needs. It includes only my father's low salary, my grandma's pension, and an allowance. Our large family lives in a 1.5-floor private house. The house requires a complete renovation. The bathroom and the toilet are old.  Some relatives have helped us with a refrigerator and a washing machine. No other changes have occurred. We will care for our basic needs using your assistance. (4-352; update )

Remark*   Edita is a self-contained and restrained girl. She likes painting in her free time. According to her older sister, Edita has a caring and calm character. Her hobbies include making clothes for her doll from tissue. She designs and makes the models herself. Edita wants to be a designer when she is older.
