My Story

Gevorg Malkhasian:     I was born on December 29, 2017, in Yeghvard. My hair is light brown, while my eyes are brown. I am in kindergarten. My favourite activities are football, running, and playing hide-and-seek. I am completely healthy. I attend our local Apostolic church. My father, Ashot, passed away on October 20, 2024. He had a 1st-degree disability and had undergone a heart operation. My mother, Meri, is a housewife. She takes care of my siblings and me. I have a 3-year-old sister named Tatev and two brothers: 7-year-old Gagik and Erik, who is yet to turn one. Our guardian is our mother. Our family income is not enough to care for our basic needs. It includes only my mother's daily wage, which she earns by occasionally taking on whatever job opportunities may come her way. My mother has also been referred to begin the process of obtaining survivor benefits for my siblings and me due to the loss of my father. However, we are not receiving that compensation yet. We live in our own partially dilapidated house. The house is damp and dark. The furniture is old and was purchased many years ago. (01-1242; updated) 

Note*        Gevorg is a shy and kind boy. He enjoys playing in the yard. At home, Gevorg helps his mother by tidying up his belongings.
