My Story

Arina Tsogolakian: I was born on April 4th, 2019. I was born in Stepanavan, Lori region. I have light brown eyes and hair. I am a kindergartener. My favorite things to do are painting, listening to music, singing, and dancing. I have a hearing impairment in both ears, tonsillitis, and enlarged adenoids. My father, Karen, has abandoned us. My mother, Oksanna, works at a poultry farm. She takes care of us. She has swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy) and needs surgery. In November 2024, she was also diagnosed with a malignant tumor. I have a 4-year-old brother, Garegin. My mother is our guardian. Our family income is not enough to care for our basic needs. It includes only an allowance, my mother's salary, and an alimony. We live in a 2-roomed apartment. The conditions are mediocre at best. The bathroom and toilet need renovation. The furniture is in a normal state. They haven't changed anything during the past year. Using your assistance, we will care for our basic needs. (4-374; update)

Remark* Arina is an active, happy, and curious girl. She likes painting, singing and dancing. Arina attends the "Arar" center for national Armenian arts. She loves singing and dancing. All her free time is spent either singing, dancing, or painting. Every evening, she forces her mother to read books for her. Arina tries to read and write by herself.
