My Story

Denis K.: I was born on January 1st, in Stepanakert, Artsakh. My hair is black and my eyes are dark brown. I am in the 3rd grade. I practice karate. My favorite subject is General Math. My father is unemployed and has a blood pressure problem. My mother is a sales assistant at a supermarket. My guardian is my mother. I have a brother (Davit - 18 years old) and a sister (Mariam - 16 years old). Our family income is not enough to care for our basic needs; it only includes state support money for people forcibly displaced from Artsakh. We have been displaced from Artsakh and are now renting a place. The furniture in our apartment is very old. The interior of the house is old as well. The living conditions are not satisfactory. Remark*    Denis is a reserved boy. He often experiences drastic mood swings. Denis talks little and doesn't like studying. He constantly talks about how much he misses his homeland. Denis has a hard time adapting to his new environment. He likes playing outside.
