My Story

Araqsya H.:  I was born on August 16th, in Vanadzor. I have brown eyes and hair. I am in 2nd grade. My favorite school subject is Math. I am physically healthy but have an intellectual disability for which I am seeing a therapist. I take dance lessons. My father is a seasonal worker abroad. We receive no support from him. My mother is a housewife. She has a hiatal hernia and needs surgery. I have 2 brothers: 4-year-old Alen and 9-year-old Srap. My mother is my guardian. Our family income is not enough to care for our basic needs. It includes only financial support from my maternal grandparents. We don't own a home. We are staying with a relative but don't pay rent. Our relative's house is currently up for sale. It's in a desolate state. Most of the furniture belongs to the landlord. Gas, water, and electricity are provided. We don't have a source of income and rely on help from my maternal grandparents. Occasionally, my paternal grandfather also helps. We are in talks to start receiving an allowance. (3-617; new)

Note*   Araqsya is a humble kid. She doesn't like socialising and is very self-conscious.
