My Story

Gagik N.:  I was born on January 31st, in Alaverdi town of Lori region. My eyes are light brown and my hair is black. I attend school and I am in the 4th grade. My favorite subjects are Math and the Armenian Language. I attend the Evangelical Church's Sunday school. I am blind. My father, Martun, is a builder and struggles to support the family. My mother, Armine, is a housewife. She takes care of us. I have 2 brothers (Monte-4 and Narek-2). Our family income is not enough to care for our basic needs. It includes only my father's low salary and an allowance. We live in a rented 4-room apartment. We have made cosmetic repairs and have done communal facilities. The rooms are bright. We need to hand over the apartment as the landlord wants to sell the apartment. With your assistance, we will be able to care for our basic needs. (11-202; new)

Note*    Gagik often enjoys spending quiet time on his own. Because of his visual impairment, he sometimes finds it challenging to join in certain games with his peers.
