My Story

Armen H.:    I was born on January 22, in Martuni, Artsakh. My hair and eyes are dark brown. I amin 5th grade. My favourite school subjects are math and the Armenian. I am completely healthy. My father died in a gasoline storage explosion in Artsakh on September 25, 2023. My mother was eventually stripped of parental rights after abandoning us in 2020. I have a sister (Vika - 13) and two brothers (Vahe - 18, and Harut - 16). Our guardian is our grandmother, Seda. She is a pensioner. Our income is not sufficient to cover our needs; it includes a poverty allowance, my grandmother's pension, and state support for people displaced from Artsakh. After being forcibly displaced from Artsakh, we started renting a three-room house in Yeghvard. The renovation is old, but the rooms get plenty of sunlight. The furniture is old and belongs to the landlord. The kitchen is outside. The bathroom also needs to be renovated. All utilities are provided. (K7-576; new)

Remark*  Armen is friendly, hospitable, and successful in his studies. He helps his uncle with construction work.
