My Story

Ashkhen D.: I was born on October 18, in Goris. My hair and eyes are black. I am in 1st grade. My favourite school subject is the Armenian language. I am healthy. My father is unemployed. My mother is a teacher. She has a malignant tumour in her bladder. She has undergone surgery and continues treatment. My parents are my guardians. I have an 11-year-old brother, Arthur. We live in my grandfather's two-room house. The place is in urgent need of renovation. Utilities are unavailable. The bathroom is in the yard. Most of the furniture is old. There is no gas. The house is heated with firewood. (6-253; new)

Remark* Ashkhen is active and agile. She loves painting. Ashkhen has started school this year and enjoys studying.
