My Story

Emil H.: I was born on October 5, in Stepanavan. My hair is black, while my eyes are brown. I am in kindergarten. My greatest hobby is football. I am completely healthy. My mother is a housewife. My father is a taxi driver. He is my guardian. I have a 1-year-old sister, Nina, and twin brothers, Argam and Aren, who are 5 months old. My 79-year-old grandfather, Emil, also lives with us. Our income is not enough to cover our needs; it includes my grandfather's pension, child benefits, and my father's income. We live in a three-room private house. The place was renovated a while ago. We need beds, chairs, and proper bedroom space. The house is damp, especially the kitchen and the bathroom. The floor paint is faded. There are cracks on the walls. The bathroom needs renovation. In the winter, we heat the place with firewood. Water and electricity are available. (4-398; new)

Remark* Emil is humble and clever. His kindergarten teachers praise him all the time. He helps around the house whenever he feels like it. Emil enjoys playing with his peers. However, there aren't many kids his age in the village, so he ends up spending most of his time with older kids. Emil's wants and needs change every day. He currently wants to practice karate, but the commute from the village to the city is difficult. This September, Emil is set to start attending school. He is incredibly excited and can't wait to go to school.
